How do I install VinzaPanel?

On a fresh Ubuntu server, as root:

Which operating systems are supported?

Ubuntu 20.04 or newer; 22.04, 24.04 and 26.04 are tested. Debian installs with a warning. Both x86_64 and aarch64 (ARM64) are supported. You need at least 2 GB of free disk space.

I lost the login address. Where is it?

Administrators log in at a secret path: https://YOUR_SERVER_IP:2711/<secret>/login/. Print it again with:

sudo vinzapanel --mode info

The public /login/ page is for hosting customers and refuses administrator accounts.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

sudo vinzapanel --mode create_admin

Enter your existing username, answer y to Update password for this user? and choose a new password (at least 8 characters with upper case, lower case, a digit and a symbol). The same command with a new username creates an additional administrator.

I lost my authenticator app. Can I reset 2FA from the command line?

No, there is no CLI command for that and no backup codes. Two-factor authentication supports both authenticator apps (TOTP) and passkeys, so set up an authenticator app and register one or more passkeys (for example laptop and phone) under Profile → Two-Factor Authentication to keep a way in. Which web server does VinzaPanel use?

You choose in the setup wizard at first login: Nginx, Apache2 or OpenLiteSpeed. Exactly one is active at a time; switching later replaces the old one. See First Login & Panel Setup.

How many websites can I host?

On the Free plan, 10 websites and 10 databases per server, with the administrator account only. Paid plans raise these limits and let you create hosting accounts for customers. See Plans & Pricing.

How do I move my license to a new server?

Install VinzaPanel on the new server and enter the same key under Administration → Panel License → Save & Verify. The license moves automatically and one server move is counted; the page shows how many you have left. See Activating Your License.

What happens if vinzapanel.com cannot be reached?

The panel keeps working on its last verified license for 12 hours. After that it shows a license notice until it can verify again. Your websites keep running either way.

How do I update VinzaPanel?

When an update is available, a badge appears in the top bar. Click it (or open Vinza Connect → Update), review the checks and click Start update. Updates are never installed automatically. See Updates.

Where is phpMyAdmin? Where is webmail?

phpMyAdmin is built in and opens at /phpmyadmin/ on your websites' hostnames. Webmail is at /vinzamail/ once the Mail Server is installed. Since 1.3.51 both paths can be switched off per website.

Can I manage several servers from one panel?

Yes, with Vinza Server, included in every paid plan. Additional servers run only a small agent. See Vinza Server.

Can I use the API?

Yes. Create a token under Profile → API Tokens (tokens start with vzp_) and send it as a bearer token to https://YOUR_PANEL:2711/api/v1/. Administrators can browse the interactive reference at /api/v1/docs/. For billing systems, see Provisioning API.

How do I uninstall VinzaPanel?

sudo vinzapanel --mode uninstall

It asks whether to also delete the panel data (database, logs, .env) and whether to remove the vinzapanel system user, then asks you to type CONFIRM. It stops and removes the panel services, runs the uninstallers of installed apps and removes the panel's UFW rules. If you keep the data, it stays in the install directory.
