Manages an OpenLiteSpeed installation from the panel: service control on lshttpd, configuration test and editing, virtual-host inspection, and log reading, all routed through the root agent. install.sh installs OpenLiteSpeed together with lsphp and takes port 80. Start, stop, restart, reload, enable, and disable map to service.*, and the config test runs /usr/local/lsws/bin/lshttpd -t under root, since the binary needs root to read its own config tree.
Server configuration is exposed as a curated form over seven directives in httpd_config.conf: maxConnections, connTimeout, keepAliveTimeout, maxKeepAliveReq, maxReqBodySize, enableGzipCompress, and showVersionNumber. Each value is type-validated, and a directive is only edited in place when it already exists — the writer never injects a new one, which could land in the wrong scope and break the server; anything absent is reported back as missing rather than added. After a write the config is tested, and on failure the byte-for-byte original is restored, so the server is never left running a configuration that failed validation; on success it is gracefully reloaded. The raw file is also viewable.
Virtual hosts are listed from the directories under conf/vhosts/, and an individual vhconf.conf can be read with the name validated against path traversal — read-only, since site creation and removal belong to the Websites section. The WebAdmin console password is randomized at install and stashed root-only as a break-glass credential; the page surfaces the console port and the path to that file, never the credentials themselves. Like the other web server plugins, the service state follows the panel's web server mode and OpenLiteSpeed is kept stopped and disabled when the mode selects something else. It conflicts with nginx and apache2, requires websites.manage, and gives non-admins only a whitelisted status view.
