VinzaPanel is a modern, extensible control panel for Linux servers. We built it for developers and system administrators who want to run their own servers — without punishing licence fees, without being locked to a single stack, and without having to take marketing claims on faith.

Why we built it

Today's control panels tend to fall into one of two camps. The commercial ones are expensive and bill per account or per domain. The free ones are often heavy on resources, lock you to one web server, or keep important decisions somewhere you cannot inspect.

We wanted something different: light enough to run on a 1 GB VPS, open about how it works, and supporting Nginx, Apache, and OpenLiteSpeed as equal choices — not one favourite with the rest bolted on afterwards.

How VinzaPanel is built

The panel runs as two clearly separated layers:

  • A Django panel — the web interface you use. This layer runs with no root privileges.
  • A Go agent — a small component that performs privileged work, under strict and narrow rules.

That separation is deliberate. A bug in the web interface should not automatically mean root on your machine. Tenant accounts are isolated from one another too, and that is not just a claim — we audited and attacked our own panel, then proved its defences on real production installs on Ubuntu and Debian.

What you get

More than 50 ready-to-install apps, including:

  • Web servers & runtimes — Nginx, Apache, OpenLiteSpeed, PHP-FPM, Node.js, Python.
  • Databases — MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, with a full GUI manager.
  • Deployment — Django, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js, Docker, and PHP from Git; the venv, dependencies, systemd service, and reverse proxy are set up for you.
  • Security — 2FA and passkeys, a managed firewall, automatic Let's Encrypt SSL including wildcards, a ModSecurity WAF with the OWASP CRS, and scheduled malware scanning.
  • Operations — multi-server management from one dashboard, scheduled offsite backups, a browser-based file manager, DNS and mail servers, and Docker management with an interactive exec console.

How we talk about the product

We try not to overstate. When we quote a number, we also say how it was measured.

For example: we state that the panel core uses roughly 103 MB at idle. That was measured on an Ubuntu 24.04 VPS with 2 vCPU and 1.9 GB RAM, and what was measured is the panel core — the ASGI process plus its agent. The figures we show for other panels come from community reports covering their whole stack, so they are not a like-for-like comparison. We show them as context, not as a hard benchmark.

Security you can test, not just claim. Install it, attack it, prove it yourself.

The same principle applies to features. Where something is still limited, we say where the limit is. We would rather disappoint you in the documentation than in production.

Self-hosted, and your data stays yours

VinzaPanel runs on your own server. Your files, databases, mail, and configuration are never copied to our systems. The only thing your panel contacts us for is licence verification, and we document exactly what that request contains on the Privacy Statement page.

Where we are

VinzaPanel is developed in Indonesia. Prices are shown in Rupiah inclusive of VAT, and payments are processed through Midtrans with local channels such as QRIS, virtual accounts, and e-wallets — the details are on the Payment Security page.
